PET PORTRAITS
Ever since I was a child, I've shared my home with canines & felines. I remember distinctly a time when we had lost a beloved cat. We were all in mourning when my father walked through the door, smiling, because he had rescued a stray kitty from a local quarry. It turned out that Miss Kitty was with kittens, and we soon had a room full of little ones. At the time, we had a German Shepherd who immediately took to the kittens, even letting them climb all over him, and sometimes hitching a ride with him. This event was the beginning of my great love for the animal world. I frequently watch and care for pets, and I also capture their personalities in my Pet Portraits.
Our animal friends are important members of our families, so a Pet Portrait is truly a family portrait. If your pet won't sit for an entire portrait session, I can work from photographs, and photos with good clarity and contrast certainly work best.
